Dziesmu avoti. 1866 na Filman CC. A heartfelt and multi-layered story about the first Latvian school choir festival, which took place in the parish of Lazdona in 1866. The film highlights a historical event that has been little known to the general public until now, but very significant – the children's singing festival organized by Pastor Rūdolfs Guleke and teacher Kārlis Pētersons, which became the basis for future song festivals and Latvian national self-awareness.
